Create a network

  1. Select Networks > Create Network.
  2. Name the network and provide a description.
  3. Create a subnet.

    • Name the subnet.
    • Specify the IP version (ipv4 or ipv6).
    • Specify the CIDR IP address. You can use a known private network address range (for example 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16).
    • Specify a DNS value. You use a public DNS server (for example, Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1).
  4. Select OK to create the network.

Advanced options

  1. Select Advanced options.

  2. Optionally disable the network gateway (enabled by default).

  3. Optionally specify the gateway IP address.
  4. Optionally enable or disable DHCP.
  5. Optionally specify the IP address allocation pools.
  6. Optionally specify host routes.
  7. Optionally specify the MTU (leave blank for default value).
  8. Enable or disable default security group (enabled by default).
