Certificates

Service description

Certificates are a security feature in the Network service that enable encrypted communication and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data. In Rumble Cloud, certificates are primarily used by the Kubernetes in conjuction with Automation service for deploying and orchetrating network infrastructure. You can also create and store certificates using the cloud console.

Features

  • SSL/TLS encryption, for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols, used for encrypting network communication.

  • Certificate Authority, acting as a trusted entity that issues digital certificates. A CA can be an external entity or an internal service that manages the issuance and revocation of certificates.

How it works

Apart from the ability to generate and store certificates using the cloud console, certificates are primary deployed as a part of Kubernetes clusters in Rumble Cloud.
